Why you need this

There is no system to put online. The chef is cooking. The phone rings between orders. Adding a booking site would mean hiring someone.
Ask early. Two to four weeks ahead for the good ones. Same-day is possible but it is luck.
Be exact about the number. One extra person is 12% of the room. Changing it later is not a small change.
Arrive on time, not early. There is usually nowhere to wait.
